After an extensive roll and re-roll, this wild mare got up off the ground with the same exertion I – and many others – have to use. The tongue always helps. This was taken early one morning on BLM land just north of Rock Springs, WY where a large herd of wild mustangs is managed and protected. It’s one of only three wild horse areas managed by the BLM.
