Most people who think of Colorado, think of mountains. The Rockies are beautiful. However, one of my favorite places is Pawnee National Grasslands in the northeastern part of the state. It is a multiuse place where ranches, fracking, pipelines, and wind farms combined industrial and agriculture with nature but supports a wild beauty. You have to look for beauty. You have to be there early or late. It is a place I love.
