In Bordeaux, France, by the Garonne River, lies a mirror pool for the young, middle-aged, and old in which to walk, ride, skate, bike, or whatever. Kids explore their reflections and play; adults enjoy the cool. Once an hour the pool is misted, which creates an ethereal aura. I sat by the side of the pool for about an hour, vicariously enjoying the glee. The clouds over the Garonne were threatening at times and would then reveal bits of blue. Perfection!
